The next generation selfie smartphone from Oppo is all set to launch in India on 2nd November. Oppo F5 is a successor of Oppo F3 which was launched earlier this year. The Oppo F5 will be the first smartphone from Oppo which will come with an 18:9 display. Like all the F series the handset will be a selfie smartphone which will mainly focus on better and crisp selfies. The new Oppo F5 comes with an AI-based beauty recognition technology which will give you a beautiful selfie, also will support bokeh effect where it can blur the background. That’s not all the handset will also support face unlock feature which will be on security upfront.
A major upgrade on Oppo F5 is its display. It features a 6-inch full HD display with 18:9 aspect ratio with 2.5D curved glass. The display on the smartphone looks and feels good with a high screen to body ratio. The smartphone is powered by a 2.5Ghz octa-core MediaTek processor with a Mali GPU processor. Along with the processor, the smartphone might be paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and comes with internal storage of 64GB which can be expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.
Oppo F5 comes with a 16MP rear camera with LED flash. The front camera on the smartphone features a 20MP f/2.0 shooter which comes with many new features. The fingerprint scanner on the smartphone is placed at the back. The device is powered by a 3,200mAH battery, supports dual SIM and 4G VoLTE support.
