Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, specs and price leaked might launch soon

The next generation of Redmi Note is arriving soon. Xiaomi India has already slashed the Redmi Note 4 price to about an INR 1000. This might have been done to get along a space for the new device which is about to launch. After being teased by JD.com, the new Redmi Note 5 is now been spotted on OppoMart website. The teaser by JD.com left everything imaginary but this new listing has given all the specs and pricing details of Xiaomi new Redmi Note 5.

As per OppoMart website, the Redmi Note 5 is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with 3GB/4GB RAM option with 32GB/64GB internal storage. The new device will run there all new MIUI 9 which runs Android N out of the box. The display will come with a 5.99-inch Full-HD display with a 2160*1080 pixel resolution. The new Redmi Note series is said to have the 18:9 aspect ratio display which is the most trending thing going around in the smartphone industry.

The camera sensor on the Redmi Note 5 is said to have the same setup like the Redmi Note 4. The rumours before had hinted that the new Redmi 5 might have dual-camera setup. Also, the device might be powered by Snapdragon 636 processor. The new Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor is expected to start shipping in November, that means the smartphone having this processor might hit the markets by early next year. Like the old Redmi series, it is said to come with two different processor options, one would be the MediaTek processor which will be launching in China and the other variant would be Snapdragon processor which will be for the Indian market.

The listing only suggests the processor and camera specification but there has been no official confirmation of the same. All this just can be considered as a small piece of information. Stay tuned for the official announcement by Xiaomi. The launch of the new Redmi Note series might happen in China first and then make its debut in Indian Market.
