Just like BHIM, this is a wallet that links with your bank account and helps in easy and fast transfer of digital money transfer.
Goole Tez uses NPCI’s( National Payment Corporation of India) and Unified Payment Interface(UPI) has made money transfer easy, simple and secure.

•The app comes with “Tez Shield” that comes with multi-layer security from Google and all day long protection.
•Cash mode in Tez helps you send and receive money from accounts or from someone who is nearby to you without sharing any valuable details.
•Transaction with people in the contact list can also happen if they are using Tez and have enabled UPI address.
•Tez supports multiple languages including some of the regional language.
•Google is also offering Tez scratch cards in the app which can win you up to Rs. 1,000 on every successful transaction. Also, your weekly transaction will get you into Tez’s Lucky Sunday contest where you can win Rs 1 Lakh every week.
There is some good news for the merchants as well those having individual current accounts can receive up to Rs. 50,000 per month with UPI and no extra fees.
Google also added it will be adding new features in near future or might be for the next updates.
The app looks simple and easy to use. The banks which support UPI payment are also eligible for Tez.
Banks like HDFC, ICICI, IDBI and State Bank of India are some of the big banks in the basket for Google Tez.
Downloading and registering in the app will earn you Rs. 51 on your very fast transaction also there is a referral program.
There is a good news for Merchants with individual current accounts can receive up to ₹50,000 per month with UPI with no fees. Beyond that, your bank may charge fees or may impose additional requirements.
In the near future, Google will be adding debit card and credit card payment features on the app and there will also be reminders for recurring bills and added new features.
So far, the app looks very simple and easy to use, and the scanning for users with Tez account around you was swift enough.
The banks that support the payments through Google Tez has a huge list and there are big banks already, including ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, IDBI Bank, State Bank of India, among others.
Any smartphone which has an unlocked bootloader or a custom ROM, the app might not work or support the software.
