OPPO sub-brand Realme will be soon launching the Realme 2 smartphone in the Indian market. The smartphone will be the successor for the most affordable 6GB RAM and P20 processor smartphone the Realme 1. The Realme 1 is exclusive to Amazon India. The upcoming smartphone Realme 2 will be sold exclusively on Flipkart. The company has also confirmed the date of the launch to be 28th August. While the Realme 1 came with 18:9 display, the teaser of the handset revealed images with notch display making it a 19:9 display.
The 6.2-inch display with offer 88.8% screen-to-body ratio. The company has also confirmed that the new Realme 2 will come with a Snapdragon chipset. The Realme 1 only came with a face unlock feature but the Realme 2 is said to feature a rear-facing fingerprint sensor for more security. The new smartphone is backed by a 4,230mAh battery and we expect it to support fast charging.
The new device will also have a dual camera setup with LED flash. Like the Realme 1, the new smartphone will offer a glossy back finish body with unique design elements.
