Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are finally in the market. After numerous rumours and leaks about the smartphone. Google finally launched the next generation of Pixel devices on October 9 at an event in New York. Apart from Google own smartphone the Pixel, Google also unveiled some of the other products like Google Pixel Stand and Google Home Hub. The newly launched devices will get all the latest version of Android and security updates till 2021, which means if you buy the new pixel smartphone, you need not upgrade to any other smartphone for next 3 to 4 years.

Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3 XL: Design and Display
The Google Pixel 3 comes with a large 5.5-inch AMOLED display with 18:9 aspect ratios and a resolution of 2160x1080px with 443 PPI, the Pixel 3 skip on the notch. The front glass on the Pixel 3 has a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 with thick bezels around the edges with a considerable amount at the bottom. This time around the smartphone comes with glass on the front and back with an aluminium frame in the middle. The back of the smartphone has a metallic texture which almost feels like metal but actually is glass which helps in supporting wireless charging.
Google Pixel 3 XL
The larger variant of the smartphone, Google Pixel 3 XL comes with 6.3-inch AMOLED display with 2960*1440 pixel resolution and 523 PPI. The design elements of the Google Pixel 3 XL are somewhat same like its smaller variant but the front of the smartphone comes with a huge notch. The considerably huge notch on the smartphone accommodates a front speaker with two cameras set up. It seems like Google really does not care but the size of the notch. Every other brand in the market today is trying to get away from the notch at the same time Google has dropped in with a good huge notch with plenty much modules.

The new pixel smartphone has been bumped with up with a number of AI features and an improved Google Lens. Some of the new features included on the device are AR stickers, Google Duplex, Flip to Shh and many others. Both the device will run Android Pie 9.0 out-of-the-box.
The Pixel brothers host a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC with a 10nm manufacturing process. The front of the smartphone sports a Dual 8MP wide-angle and telephoto camera with f/2.2 aperture. The main sensor is a 12.2MP dual pixel camera with f/1.8 aperture and 76-degree of Field of view. The rear camera on both the pixel smartphone have a bunch of other features which include Autofocus, Dual pixel phase detection, Optical + electronic image stabilisation and sensor like Spectral, flicker is also included. The colours coming out of both the camera seem to be very natural and on the cooler side with very little noise. The smartphones were performing extra-ordinary with these new set of hardware the new Pixels probably could be the best camera smartphone.

Both the models come with dual-band Wi-Fi, 4G, Bluetooth 5.0 aptX HD, Wi-Fi Direct, USB 3.1 Type-C, GPS etc. The Pixel comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner which is pretty fast and robust. The battery on the new Pixel 3 is 2,915mah while its larger brother gets a huge 3,430mAh battery with quick charging 2.0. The smartphone comes with an 18W adapter and also supports wireless charging with 15W Qi charging speeds.

Both the smartphone are a pretty good device. The specification is great with match flagship standards. The 4GB RAM on the smartphone could somewhere be in the news for the price tag which the smartphone ask. But with a robust software, regular updates and AI features the smartphone could possibly handle everything.
Google has stuck to its old design making the new Pixel familiar to Google smartphone and still look distinct. The fast wireless charging and a much faster-wired charging keep the device in-power all day long. Pixel devices will be getting regular updates. Overall the package of Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL is a great smartphone with a fantastic camera and performance all together.
